Responsibilities:
* Performs a variety of accounting functions within the Accounting department. May perform one or more of the following duties:
* Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts
* Balances books or accounts and prepares profit/loss, income and balance sheet statements
* Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
* Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports
* Prepares balance sheet reconciliation and margin trend analysis
* Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
* Conducts studies and develops solutions for improving accounting processes
* Prepares and analyzes tax records and reports
* Prepares local, state and federal tax returns
* Assists in preparing statistical and financial reports
* Maintains records and performs miscellaneous tax assignments
* All other duties as assigned
* JOB COMPLEXITY:
* Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
* Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Financial Accounting & Reporting or Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Accounts Executive.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Pasay City.
* Must be willing to work on rotating shifts or follow Eastern Time Zone.

Accounting Staff

General Accounting Managers
You will lead a delivery unit of 50 – 100 accounting analysts. You will be overseeing provision of controls in behalf of the client in relation to General Accounting (GL, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Master Data).
Your management roles include:
* Unit management – ensure site performance objectives are met, SLA’s and KPI’s
* Cost management – responsible for team financials, expenses, labor and facility costs
* Site scorecard metrics as needed by Client and Accenture Leadership

REQUIREMENTS:
