TAX SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

* Reviews monthly & quarterly VAT returns, withholding tax and supports together with summary alphalist.
* Reviews quarterly fringe benefit tax returns.
* Checks excise tax and VAT on CBU, parts and accessories, and other importations.
* Reviews weekly & monthly excise tax reports on CKDs.
* Reviews quarterly income tax returns and summary list of tax credits.
* Coordinates with external auditor for the annual income tax returns & supporting schedules. Ensures compliance with Minimum Corporate Income Tax MCIT and monitors Net Operating Loss Carried Over (NOLCO). Filing the annual ITR w/ summary alphalist.
* Reviews documentary stamp tax returns.
* Reviews creditable withholding tax returns.
* Reviews annual reports to BIR: *Annual VAT registration *Inventory listing *Registration of Books
* Ensures compliance on local taxes: *Payment of real property tax *Mayor’s permit *Municipal business tax *Community tax certificate
* Performs tax planning and ensures compliance on tax matters.
* Reviews monthly Official Registry Books for submission to BIR.
* Reviews and submits to BIR the Manufacturer’s / Importer’s Sworn Statements (per variant) quarterly or as necessary.
* Reviews reports and application for PEZA VAT zero-rated certificate & BIR tax clearance certificate.
* Reviews / approves month-end entries & account reconciliation.
* Monitors payment of duty and VAT on constructive export and direct imported parts (DIP).
* Monitors compliance with export requirements for tax purposes.
* Coordinates with the Office of the Tax Counsel all major tax issues.
* Disseminates new tax laws and regulations.
* Resolves tax issues raised by employees.
* Replies to tax queries.
* Other jobs / tasks to be assigned by the Finance Manager / Director.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* Required language(s): Filipino, English
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Finance – Audit/Taxation or equivalent. Job role in Taxation or Auditing in a manufacturing company.
* Certified Public Accountant.
