Responsibilities:

-The Service Desk is primarily in-charge of technical support for REWSStools®. REWSStools® is a LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) based software used to monitor GSM networks. As Team leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of service desk report. This includes coaching service desk staff, evaluating staff performance, preparing work schedule, and ensuring workforce coverage of the 24/7 service desk;

-Track service requests and incident tickets and ensure it is resolved within the specified SLA;

-Ensure customer satisfaction by validating service desk responses to customers – if they communicate properly and within the specified timeframe;

-Validate and coordinate ownership and accountability of service requests by individuals, and even departments and other cross-functional departments concerned if necessary;
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the performance of the service desk;

-Suggest and implement programs for improving overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 5 years experience working for a Network Operations Center (ISP or Telco), or an IT-helpdesk;

-Has handled technical teams in the past (supervisory or managerial role);

-Willing to work in shifts, and at times even on holidays;
-Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills;
-Excellent communication skills and is customer-focused;
Tech-Savvy;
-Confident and well-motivated;
-Organized and with a keen eye for detail;
-Must have at least two of the following skill sets (to be validated by training/education, certifications, or prior work experience): (1)
-Networking (IP, GSM, 3G, NG); (2) Telecommunications GSM (switching or NOC); (3) ITIL; (4) Service Management; (5) MIS; (6)
-Database administration preferably MySQL;
-Has working experience in a multinational company;
-Willing to go on-call.
