Responsibilities:

* Support the audit plans as developed by the Internal Audit Manager primarily in the area systems and information technology, to assess the effectiveness of its internal controls
* Prepare audit work papers to adequately document the audit process, tests, and results
* Prepare written reports and recommend corrective actions
* Review process documentation and perform walkthroughs and test of controls for internal controls in the area of operating systems and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Section 404)
* Provide support to other financial and non-financial areas as and when required
* Maintain knowledge of current systems and auditing practices and regulations

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess a CPA license. Preference will be given to Certified Internal Auditors or Certified Information Systems Auditors, MBA/MS IT degree holders and those with experience in auditing ERP (Oracle).
* Experience in an Internal Audit position in a public accounting firm
* Sound knowledge in Information technology and primarily in operating systems and computer applications
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the manufacturing or related industry in a financial and/or IT position with hands on experience on SOX 404. This would include process mapping, risk assessment, testing of controls.
* Ability to work in a fast moving pace and meet strict datelines
* Self motivated, able to work independently as well as within a team environment
* Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate and interact with all levels of staff
* Possess high ethical standards
* Some travel may be required
