RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for developing quality software and creating technical documentation for Aegis PeopleSupport.

* Design and develops internal applications.

* Accomplishes all required program coding and documentation within the defined timelines.

* Ensures that all systems developed are tested prior to migration to the production environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): ASP.net, SQL Server.
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications on the Microsoft platform progressing from an individual contributor to a technical team leader.
* Expertise with VB, COM, COM+, MTS, SQL Server, ASP.net
* Working knowledge in designing and developing a significant NTier application; full life cycle software development.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent. Job role in Software Engineer/Programmer or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing service support to users through assistance on the use and resolution of software  issues; perform software demonstration to existing and prospective clients and will assist the Lead Development Engineer in integrating all program documentation for the system, testing code components into a working system and developing a system installation package for software release and perform software demonstration to existing and prospective clients.

Requirements:

Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Navitaire Product Development
The position is responsible for testing Navitaire complex airline application software to ensure that products meet acceptable standards and end-user requirements. Involvement in testing the application requires collaboration with US colleagues, business analysts, developers and other product development members. The position entails getting functional, technical, and administrative supervision from a team lead but is expected to work with high level of independence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

* Check/review the test cases

* Contribute to the tracking and resolution of bugs

* Ensure product testing is completed according to guidelines and standards

* Initiate, identify and implement improvements to the test processes and procedures

* Notify the Software Test Lead about any major issues that may be encountered during testing

* Perform all aspects of product testing including functional, component, regression and exploratory testing

* Provide feedback on test case detail and clarity

* Run Test Automation Scripts for Regression Testing

REQUIREMENTS:

* At least 2 years hands-on experience in software testing or automation

* Airline industry knowledge/experience a plus

* Strong English oral and written communication skills

* Good analytical, problem solving skills

* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment

* Team player, high initiative and quick learner

* Must possess a University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline with good academic records from schools with reputable CS/IT programs.
