* Performs regular inspection and audit of work methods, compliance to health and safety requirements, and adequacy and proper maintenance of welfare and first aid facilities.
* Ensures that audit findings are properly resolved or given proper action.
* Identification, assessment, and control of hazards.
* Establishes a risk management policy and necessary contingency plans to minimize the consequences of any foreseeable incident.
* Creates, maintains, reviews and updates site policies, standards and procedures relating to occupational health, safety, and risk in all parts of the business.
* Complies to legal and other requirements of Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC), Safety Organization and other governing bodies, as well as to ITS Regional office on Health, Safety, and Environment
* Act as Pollution Control Officer
* Conducts investigation of accidents, determines its casues and recommend measures to prevent recurrence;
* Attends clients meetings, implement their requirements, and resolves issues pertaing to HSE.
* Trains employees and contractors on health, safety, and environment programs;
* Act as Secretary to Safety Committee’
* Performs administrative functions: vehicle management, leased premises management, general services, etc.
* Establishes HSE key performance indicators, safety checklist, emergency and contingent plans, etc.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Chemistry, Quantity Survey or equivalent;
* Must have above average communications skills both in oral and written English and Filipino;
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
* Must be a certified Safety Officer and Pollution Officer;

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for preparation of cost estimates both for main contract and variation orders.
2. To provide technical guidance on assigned projects and plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work and ensure compliance to applicable regulations, accepted technical/engineering practices and procedures are followed/applied in the preparation of project plans and proposals.
3. To perform personnel functions by supervising and inspecting the performance of site workers and cadet engineers to ensure that all procedures are completed to the company-set standards and client standards and ensure that work progress is according to schedule.
4. To work closely with the Project Manager/VP-Operations to schedule work and set priorities and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies.
5. To coordinate with the Logistic Division the purchase and delivery of required materials for the completion of a specified project and ensure that supply of material required are maintained to avoid disruption of work.
6. To establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and to ensure that all the tools, machines and equipment being used in the work site are maintained in the prescribed condition.
7. To prepare reports and schedule of project planned activities, to show and monitor that project development is progressing according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines and submits the same to the Project Manager.
8. Responsible for the preparation of monthly accomplishment report and frequent coordination with the Accounting Department for monthly project billings.
9. To make sure that Certificates of Completion are secured from clients immediately after the projects has been completed.
10. To administer demobilization of tools, machines and equipment after each project completion.
11. To perform other duties as may be required by the superiors/management from time to time.
