Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the planning and management of Star Cruises organization human resources functions consisting of the overall administration of salaries / benefits, personnel administration and records, performance appraisals, and all staff matters for both shore and ship based employees.
* Keep abreast with the developments in human resources practices, regional statutory changes and human resources policies of other reputable Companies.
* Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategies and plans to resolve industrial and employee relations disputes, and issues; to maintain industrial harmony and peace.
* Review and advise on the implications and impact of ITF Agreements, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), employment, termination, dismissal and warning meted out to employees (shore-based and ship-based).
* Responsible for the administration of the company’s compensation and benefits i.e. to enhance the staff benefits and participate in the compensation management of employees.
* Assist and advise VP Corporate Human Resources and Country/Regional Head in all aspects of human resources, employee relations and management matters from time to time.

Requirements:

* Degree in HR Management with minimum of 8 years relevant experience in similar field.
* At least 5 years experience in a managerial capacity in a large organization.
* Well verse with local employment law.
* Good leadership, management and analytical skills.
* Able to plan, organize, implement and control various program for improvements.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Good human relation skills with ability to counsel employees to increase productivity.
* Computer literate.
* Must be able to handle pressure, attentive, reliable, out-going and creative.
* Proficiency in Mandarin (read, write & speak) is an added advantage.
