IT SECURITY HELPDESK SPECIALIST (Call Center/BPO)

Responsibilities:

The IT Security Helpdesk Specialist provides support services to the Security department.

Requirements:

1. Reports directly to the Director of Security.
2. Requires working U.S. Business Hours
3. Must be experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.
4. Performs a variety of internal auditing functions and escalates issues such as, but not limited to:
1. User entitlement reviews
2. AV Audits
3. Vulnerability scanning
4. Log Management and Reviews of System, Firewall, and IDS logs
5. Has excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
6. Receives phone calls and emails and provides necessary actions on those communications.
7. Performs a variety of administrative duties/functions as required by the daily operations of the Security team.
8. Handles logistics in organizing security meetings/conferences
9. Coordinates team’s schedules and responsible for team availability and travel plans.
10. Fields and directs incoming internal and client correspondents, inquires, and proposals.
11. Performs other duties and assignments that may be assigned or required by the Supervisor or Manager

System/Network Administrator

Requirements:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
• help desk support experience including Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels
• excellent communicator in English
• receive and action email alerts
• ability to be proactive in escalation process
• ability to maintain excellent customer service relations and deal effectively with client’s enterprise IS and IT professionals and end-user customer base
• available to work variety of shifts in a fast-paced 24×7 environment
• proactive in resolving customer issues and ability to ‘think outside the box’
• a high level of judgment, advanced problem solving techniques, and technical writing skills in English
• experience in all Microsoft/Sun/Linux operating systems at the administrator level as well as different types of security software and hardware (firewalls, routers)
