Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Develop test programs and hardware for PIC microcontroller devices including writing assembly code for simulation and functional pattern generation
* Develop characterization test programs for AC, DC, and Analog data collection
* Implement cost effective improvements which enhance product yield and quality
* Ensure product quality meets/exceeds customer expectations and is consistent with corporate requirements
* Maintain and enhance test programs to improve efficiency, quality and to support added features
* Generate test plans and methodologies with an emphasis on test time and coverage

Requirements:

* BS degree in either electrical Engineering or Semiconductor Physics
* Minimum 6 years direct experience in test of digital and mixed signal integrated circuits
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project)
* Experience with microcontroller assembly language and test
* Experience with EEPROM and EPROM product tests
* Familiarity with the Teradyne J750
* Software experience with C/C++, Assembly, and/or Microsoft Visual Basic
* Understanding of ISO, QS9000, and/or TS16949 quality standards
* Working hours must be flexible to accommodate communication with overseas team members.
* Fluent in English is required

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for designing and maintaining a responsive and competitive compensation and

* Layout and design of printed circuits boards (PCB) for test and evaluation of the company’s world class analog and mixed signal products
* Schematic capture
* Multilayer PCB Layout
* Design rule verification
* Interfacing with PC Board fabricators
* Work as a team to complete projects on schedule

Requirements:

* Practical experience in working with Mentor PowerPCB and PowerLogic, Cadence Allegro, or similar PCB Layout software
* Background in electronics and knowledge of the PCB fabrication process is a plus
