RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a technical support representative, you’ll be assisting people from different countries; receiving, assessing, troubleshooting and resolving support requests for computer hardware. You will analyze the source of problems reported, locating trends and recommending measures to minimize or eliminate future occurrences. You must be able to handle calls and navigate the computer, while providing superb service.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must have finished at least two (2) years in college or possess a vocational/short course certificate.
With IT inclination; familiar with Internet connection, Windows 98 and various Operating Systems and Hardware troubleshooting.
Excellent English communication skills.
Good problem solving and decision making skills.

-Accurately identify the customer’s real needs and resolve customer issues.
-To register customers and products in the support database.

Key Responsibility:

The Deskside Technical Support Staff will be responsible to provide technical troubleshooting, to perform preventive maintenance and to set up the hardware components of desktop equipments. She must conduct a second level problem determination and must provide solution to the problem escalated by an end-user. She must update, track and close problems escalated by the end-user. She must perform research regarding current trends and patterns related to the problem.

Job Role and Skill Set:

Technical Customer Service – English

Primary Skills:

- Female and graduate of any four (4) year computer related course.
- Has 2 years hands-on technical support experience from an IT industry
- Basic knowledge in LAN, WAN, and other networking skills.
- Has basic knowledge on Windows Active Directory (AD) or at least the use and importance of AD.
- Has basic to advance knowledge of Email clients (MS Outlook, Outlook Express)
- Knowledge in Lotus Notes is a plus

Secondary Skills:
- Possess excellent customer relations and negotiation skills. Above average communication skill in the English language.
- Analytical, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Willing to render occasional overtime work/work on weekends.
