Human Resource Officer (Payroll Systems)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Spearheads compensation and benefits systems design initiatives of the company.
* Maintains close coordination with internal managers / directors on company issues concerning salaries and benefits, and explores possible solutions to address these.
* Leads initiatives and projects relating to transition of payroll systems.
* Ensures that the company’s jobs and functions are appropriately benchmarked with market surveys.
* Prepares the necessary reports and accomplishes the necessary questionnaires for submission to compensation and benefits survey providers.
* Recommends action plans in the realm of compensation and benefits based on final results and analyses of compensation and benefits surveys.
* Looks into the modification of internal systems and structures (i.e. incentive plans, salary structures, succession planning, salary increase budgets, market adjustments) in order for the company to remain competitive with the industry.
* Leads projects that relate closely / impact compensation and benefits systems (i.e. performance management, competency systems, job analysis, job hierarchies, salary structures).
* Manages the activities of cross-functional teams as assigned on a case-to-case basis, to focus on special projects that deal directly with compensation and benefits (i.e. performance management, competencies, job analysis).
* Addresses internal issues of the company that relate to job leveling, salary compression, succession planning, and performance. Recommends possible solutions to such issues and challenges from a sound compensation and benefits perspective.
* Provides ad-hoc analysis and prepares reports for perusal of Management as needed, focusing on compensation and benefits provisions of the company.
* Extends assistance to the C&B Manager and Vice-President for Human Resources in handling C&B-related concerns. Verifies details based on inquiries and provides feedback regarding any employee concerns. Attends to all concerns and manages employee expectations of C&B and Payroll practices / policies of the company.
* Assists the C&B Manager in exploring and negotiating for other benefits services to be offered for the company. Negotiates for the most cost-effective deals on employee benefits. Maintains cordial working relations with benefits consulting representatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree preferrably in Business Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or Psychology
* Must be knowldgeable in SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft HR Systems
* At least 3 year(s) of Supervsiory experience in Human Resources (Compensation and Benefits/Payroll) in a BPO
