Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Have excellent skills within MySQL (incl. performance tuning and trouble-shooting)
• Have experience from designing and implementing graphical user interfacesHTML, CSS, Javascript (W3C)
• Have good knowledge of running and setting up Linux server environments Apache, MySQL, PHP
• Have experience from QA and testing of applications
• Have good knowledge working within SVN

Preferred, if you have:

• Experience from developing / working within SugarCRM
• A university degree (or other type of examina)
• Experience from working with SCRUM
• Experience from developing in QlikView

Senior Research Manager
(National Capital Reg – MAKATI CITY)

Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of analysts and team leaders to conduct research and analysis in the area of corporate finance, equity research, private equity, fixed income and hedge funds
* Manage day-to-day activities inside the Delivery Center including, but not limited to
* Perform quality check on the research work before it is sent to the client
* Monitoring and managing workflow to assure timely delivery of research product to customers
* Frequent daily interaction by email and telephone with customer managers in NY, London and Asia
* Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data including capacity utilization, attendance, use of various databases:
* Develop processes to improve productivity of the team
* Mentor analysts and senior analysts. Supervise and train junior research staff and new hires:
* Develop training material as needed. Participate directly in training of new hires during initial weeks in the Delivery Center
* Participate in the new pilots
* Assist junior staff as necessary with research tasks
* Mentor new hires and junior staff to encourage good research skills and work ethic
* Work with customer managers to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise
* In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Delivery Center Lead may be expected to perform analytics tasks as well

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): Alacra, Bloomberg, Factiva, Factset, Thomson ONE Banker, Thomson Research.
* At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
